Filler Dissolving in
Santa Ana
(South Coast Metro)

A thoughtful filler reset, with Clarius Ultrasound when precision matters.

If filler feels puffy, uneven, migrated, or simply not like you anymore, we can help. Our filler reset service uses hyaluronidase to dissolve unwanted hyaluronic acid filler carefully. When needed, Clarius Ultrasound helps us see where filler is sitting so treatment can be more precise.

Licensed Injectors, Thoughtful Plans

Filler dissolving should not feel rushed. Before we treat, we review your filler history, facial anatomy, current concerns, and whether a partial dissolve or a full reset makes the most sense. When filler is older, migrated, or hard to map from the surface, Clarius Ultrasound adds another layer of assessment so we can plan more thoughtfully. Results vary. A medical consultation is required.

Why It’s Worth Doing

What Filler Reset Can Do

A filler reset is not always about removing everything. Sometimes it means softening a lump. Sometimes it means correcting migration. Sometimes it means starting fresh before a more conservative refill plan. We commonly treat concerns like overfilling, uneven texture, asymmetry, heaviness, and old filler that no longer looks balanced.

Why Clarius Ultrasound Matters

Not every filler issue is obvious from the surface. Clarius Ultrasound can help us identify existing filler and surrounding anatomy so dissolving can be more targeted instead of blind. For patients, that means a clearer plan and more confidence in the process.

Filler Reset Cost at Calista Aesthetics

At Calista, filler reset pricing is clear. Ultrasound Guidance Add-on is $250. Small Area Hylenex is $250. Medium Area Hylenex is $500. Large Area Hylenex is $1,000. Some patients need one visit. Others need staged dissolving depending on the amount of HA filler, the area treated, and whether you’re doing a partial dissolve or a full reset. We review your plan and total before treatment.

How Filler Dissolving Works

What it is

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme used to dissolve unwanted hyaluronic acid filler.

What it can dissolve

Only HA fillers, such as Juvéderm, Restylane, and Versa, can be dissolved this way. If you are unsure what was injected, we’ll review your history and assess the area first.

What the appointment is like

Many dissolving visits are relatively quick once the plan is set, but we still approach them like a medical visit: consult, planning, numbing if needed, precise injections, and aftercare.

Partial or full dissolve

Some patients want a full reset. Others only want a small area refined. We can plan either approach based on what your face needs.

When you’ll see change

You may notice improvement quickly, with more visible softening over the first 24–48 hours. Final evaluation is easier once swelling settles, usually around 1–2 weeks.

When you can refill

If you want filler again, we usually recommend waiting at least 1–2 weeks so swelling and remaining product have cleared.

Results, Recovery & Aftercare

Most patients notice softening within the first 24–48 hours. Mild swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising can happen after treatment and usually improve over the first several days. Some areas may look temporarily deflated or uneven while swelling settles, so final evaluation is easier around the 1–2 week mark.

Simple aftercare bullets:

  • Use cool compresses the first day
  • Avoid heavy rubbing or pressure on the area
  • Skip strenuous workouts, alcohol, and excess heat/steam for the first 24–48 hours
  • Sleep with your head elevated the first night
  • Avoid makeup and strong active skincare on the treated area for 24 hours
  • Contact us right away for hives, trouble breathing, severe pain, color change, or vision symptoms

What to Expect at Your Visit

Who it’s for

Patients with migrated, lumpy, puffy, uneven, or overfilled HA filler — or patients who want a clean slate before refilling.

What to expect

  • Visit length: usually brief, depending on the area and whether ultrasound mapping is used
  • Comfort: topical numbing can be used
  • Downtime: expect mild swelling or bruising for a few days
  • Follow-up: we may schedule a check-in in about 1–2 weeks if needed
  •

What happens after a reset

Some patients stop there. Others choose a more conservative refill later. The goal is not “more.” The goal is balance.
